# Looker (Toolbox)

**Description:** MCP Toolbox for Looker (powered by Google's GenAI Toolbox) provides AI assistants with access to Looker. It enables querying explores and looks, running queries, and inspecting models and dashboards.

**Configuration Parameters:**

* **Looker Base URL** \* - e.g. `https://mycompany.looker.com`.
* **Looker Client ID** \* - API3 Client ID from your Looker user profile.
* **Looker Client Secret** \* (sensitive) - API3 Client Secret paired with the Client ID.

**Setup Steps:**

1. Log in to Looker.
2. Navigate to **Admin → Users**, open your service user, and click **Edit Keys** under **API Keys**.
3. Click **New API3 Key** and copy the **Client ID** and **Client Secret** — Looker only shows them once.
4. When creating the connection in Natoma, paste the base URL, Client ID, and Client Secret, and save.
