# Splunk

**Description:** Splunk MCP server provides AI assistants with access to your Splunk Cloud deployment. It enables running searches, querying indexes and saved searches, and inspecting alerts and dashboards.

**Configuration Parameters:**

* **Splunk Deployment Prefix** \* - Subdomain prefix (e.g. `acme` for `acme.splunkcloud.com`).
* **Splunk Bearer Token** \* (sensitive) - Bearer token (without the `Bearer` prefix) generated in Splunk.

**Setup Steps:**

1. Log in to Splunk Cloud.
2. Navigate to **Settings → Tokens** (or **Settings → Authentication → Tokens**) and click **New Token**.
3. Choose the user the token runs as, set audience and expiration, and copy the bearer value.
4. When creating the connection in Natoma, paste the deployment prefix and token and save.
